Welcome to Treasure Hunt Tree House

Welcome to Treasure Hunt Tree House, located in Kennesaw GA (about 20 min drive from Atlanta)
This is a truly unique three floor tree house complete with many fun features as well as this cool activity: This backyard tree house has an adventurous twist in the form of a treasure hunt for any guest who stays in this fun little bungalow.

This unique two structure tree house connected by a rope bridge sits high among the bamboo leaves. Down below you will hear the sounds of a trickling stream that runs underneath the treehouse, a bridge and the hammocks. This simple intimate setting provides quiet spaces to rest and relax, with an added bonus of an escape room style treasure hunt hidden amongst the tree houses.
The first structure consists of a 144 square foot bedroom with 3 sets of French doors and a vaulted ceiling supported by pine beams. There is a wrap-around porch on 3 sides surrounded by bamboo railing. The tin roof provides a calming sound when it rains. All six doors open fully to allow maximum airflow, but the treehouse bedroom is also equipped with a ceiling fan, and heating and air conditioning. The bed is a comfortable memory foam/ coil hybrid mattress with high quality sheets. Trees run through the deck and the interior of this room. Most of the décor was handmade by the owner.

As you walk across the rope bridge you’ll enter the 2nd structure which is screened in with a table and chairs to sit in. Along the center tree is a ladder that leads through a trap door to a crow’s nest observatory above with bamboo railing. This floor has a bucket that is raised via a rope and pulley system that is turned by a boat helm. (Just for fun). All three levels are lit up at night via stringed lights magical feeling ambiance.

A full bathroom consisting of a sink, toilet and marble shower is reserved on the ground level exclusively for tree house guests. Guests are provided with towels, handmade soaps, waters, and snacks. There is a small mini fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker in the treeehouse as well. Guests are encouraged to look at the online guidebook we have created which highlights the many great restaurants and activities available in the Kennesaw area.

For those adventurous types looking for more fun than just a simple quiet retreat, these bungalows hold a secret: many complex clues, puzzles and riddles are hidden throughout the structures and promise to surprise and delight the inner child of all who plays the game. No assistance is given to find the treasure, so work together. Those who win the game will have the eternal honor of signing their name amongst the past legends who have overcome this challenge. (And you will get a prize too :)

We try our very best to exceed your expectations in our little backyard bungalow and aim to make it a truly memorable and relaxing time to escape and unwind in a fun and unique setting. This treehouse, as most treehouses are, is in the backyard. The bathroom is about 30 steps from the treehouse on the ground level and is attached to my house (but is exclusively for treehouse guests). The electronic key code for the tree house is the same code as for the bathroom.
